In-Home Care Services Through Colorado Medicaid
A-1 Home Care Services provides compassionate in-home care through Colorado Medicaid programs, including In-Home Support Services (IHSS) and other Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS).
These programs allow individuals who need assistance with daily activities to remain safely in their own homes instead of moving to a facility.
Our caregivers help clients maintain independence, comfort, and dignity while receiving the support they need.

Medicaid & IHSS Home Care
We provide in-home care services through Colorado Medicaid programs, including In-Home Support Services (IHSS) and other Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS). These programs help individuals who need assistance with daily activities remain safe at home.
Our caregivers assist with:
- Personal Care and Hygiene
- Mobility Assistance
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Medication Reminders
- Daily Living Support
These services are authorized by a Medicaid case manager and provided according to an approved care plan.
Services We Provide
Our caregivers assist with a variety of daily living activities based on the authorized care plan.
Services may include:
- Personal Care – Assistance with Bathing, Dressing, Hygiene, Mobility, and Other Daily Living Activities
- Homemaking – Housekeeping, Meal Preparation, and Support with Household Routines
- Health Maintenance Activities (HMA) – Authorized Health-Related Tasks Performed According to the Care Plan
All services are provided according to the care plan approved by the client’s case manager.
Caregiver Training
If a family member or relative would like to become the caregiver, prior professional experience is not required.
Our Registered Nurse (RN) provides the necessary training and guidance, including instruction on required care tasks and HMA health maintenance activities, to ensure caregivers are prepared to safely support the client.
